I hope that everyone who celebrated Halloween/All Hallows Eve/Samhain, etc. really enjoyed it. Despite everything that is going on in the world, hopefully you were able to spend time with your family and enjoy the holiday as much as possible!
Quick update for everyone! I began working on Book Three: Prowess the other day and have plans to work on it again this weekend. Unfortunately, I have been working a lot of Saturdays lately. And between raising a toddler, exercising, cooking, cleaning, and working, I haven’t had much time to sit down to start the final book of this trilogy. But this weekend, I neither work nor have my daughter, so that is perfect for me to sit down, relax, and mentally get myself ready to write! I already have an outline and am very excited to share all of the twists and turns of this final book with all of you – my lovely supporters and readers!
I also thought about doing a writing prompt or two if I am not completely immersed in Prowess or need to get the ‘creative juices’ flowing. Stay tuned for, at the very least, some updates!
For those of you who haven’t had a chance to purchase Preservation, it is now available on Amazon – both hard copy and eBook. Barnes and Noble and Kobo are only available on eBook. I spent some extra time downsizing both books to be single-spaced and save on trees (paper) and to help it read better.
But back to Halloween! I decided, last minute, to dress up like Eva (minus her famous blades) to see if I could drum up additional sales from people asking about it at work. I dressed up on Friday and got a few inquisitors, but the coming weeks should yield a favorable result! Either way, it was fun to tear up some Goodwill clothes and spray fake blood and dirt on me. Let’s just say my costume was a stark contrast from everyone else. 🙂
This isn’t the greatest picture I had, but it was the only one of my entire costume. 😀
